Looking for a unique setting for your wedding ceremony or reception? We found a perfect location, right in the heart of Woodbury: Central Park. This gorgeous indoor park opened in 2002 and has been hosting weddings ever since through the City of Woodbury’s private rental program.

“Our number of weddings has doubled in the past few years; we hosted 65 weddings in 2011,” says Blaine Beck, facility rental coordinator for the city. “Our main selling points are a beautiful location to hold both your wedding ceremony and reception, guaranteed nice weather, lots of free parking, and we are one of the only local venues that will allow any Minnesota licensed caterer—all at a great value.”

Central Park offers a number of options for couples, including three ceremony sites: the amphitheater, bridge and outdoor patio/bridge/lawn. The entire park can be rented on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, accommodating up to 300 guests seated at tables throughout the venue. Rental includes onsite staff, table and chair setup, park and upper level plaza area, Valley Creek Banquet Room, kitchen, Tamarack Room, dressing rooms, outdoor patio and two great locations for a dance.

“You can even rent out Central Park’s Lookout Ridge indoor playground for a place for kids to play during the wedding/reception,” says Beck. “And Central Park can be rented for wedding photo shoots and ceremonies before 4 p.m. on weekend days.
