Treated Like a Queen
As a teacher, I’m always looking for ways to stretch my paycheck. While scouring Woodbury for affordable spa treatments, I was pleasantly surprised to see that many of our salons and spas offer express services for clients on a budget. As I met with the estheticians, salon owners, massage therapists, I was even more delighted to learn that not only are there myriad options within the $50 range, they’re almost all completely customizable.
Both my dry skin and my stress practically melted away during my consultation and facial at Radiance MedSpa, where we talked about my cleansing routines and used a medley of products to invigorate my face. I don’t have time for a weekly manicure, so the experts at Juut suggested a two-week gel polish to keep my nails looking fresh for longer. The tension in my back and shoulders that comes from teaching 30 second graders disappeared, with no signs of return, after my express massage at Corepower Yoga & Spa.
The best part? The skilled group of beauticians made sure that more than just my basic beauty needs were met—each also offered water and other refreshments, perfect customer service, and handed me goodie bags of samples and a list of products to try at home as I left.
