For the Kids
AARP Minnesota will be hosting the Fifth Annual Movie Night at the Ballpark at St. Paul’s CHS Field on August 1st, where we will be screening A League of Their Own (rated PG). Moviegoers can take in the event in the stands or they can bring a blanket to enjoy the movie from the outfield of the park. The event is free to movie-lovers of any age, family-friendly and inclusive to all, and a fantastic way to connect to the richness and heart of St. Paul. Read more about Movie Night at the Ballpark
Unleash your cold blooded side and marvel at reptiles such as snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, chameleons, geckos, dragons and more. Gawk at small exotic mammals, such as sugar gliders, and hedgehogs or browse through various animal vendors for the latest food, cages and toys for your next pet. If your child wants to grow up to be a veterinarian, this 3-hour program can set them down the right path. They’ll learn about surgery skills using a pretend patient, how to recognize common illnesses and what it’s like to work at a shelter. Kids grades 3-6. Family Night: Friday, April 26, 6-9 p.m.

Healthy Kids Running Series (“HKRS”) is a national, community-based nonprofit which provides a fun, five-week running program for ages 2-14 that gets kids active, feel accomplished and lays the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. It's a running program where kids can be competitive in their age brackets, ranging from 50 yard dash to 1 mile. The annual Fall Festival at King of Kings Lutheran Church will take place on Friday, October 26. Dinner will be served from 5:30–7:00 p.m. with the Children’s Party from 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Activities will include dinner with live music, pop toss, face painting, crafts, music, carnival games and much more! Children are encouraged to dress in non-scary costume. A free will offering for dinner will be accepted. Read more about Family Fall Festival at King of Kings
