Paleo Cooking - Indian Style
October 4 This course teaches you how to incorporate the healing spices and vibrant flavors used in Indian cooking in the healthy, unprocessed Paleo diet. Learn to cook the following: a dry-rubbed, spiced chicken entrée served with turmeric and ginger spiced “cauli-rice” and vegetable curry, as well as an Indian-style coffee cooked with ghee. $52. 6-9 p.m. East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive.
Butter-Crust Fruit Pies
October 6 Make all-butter crusts and bake a 5-inch pie using items such as glass bottles, cast-iron skillets and old pizza pans. Ages 8 and up. $40. 6-9 p.m. East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive.
A Cook’s Tour
