The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the Audubon Society partner for a day of avian fun and education. The event will feature presentations, workshops, nature walks and book signings featuring noted naturalists and authors Jim Gilbert, Stan Tekiela, Matt Schuth, Alan Branhagen and the Audubon Society’s expert on bird habitats and native plants, John Rowden.

Saint Thomas Academy offers an educational experience unlike any other school in Minnesota. Prospective middle school students (entering 6-8 grades) and their families can learn more about this experience at the Admissions Showcase, which will include:
Tours led by current students.
A short program providing an overview of the Academy and the admissions process.
Opportunities to talk with faculty, admissions and financial aid staff, current students and parents.

A variety of events will keep all ages entertained. There will be games (including the popular Heads ‘n’ tails game, a dunk tank and cake walks), food and a silent auction. There is no cost to attend.
The Father’s Club of Saint Thomas Academy will host a public event featuring motivational speaker Jake Olson, the former University of Southern California Trojan football long snapper, who is blind. Olson has shared his moving and inspirational story with millions of people through the media and motivational appearances. He was born with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer and lost his sight at age 12.
