For the past five years, St. Paul has hosted the Red Bull Crashed Ice event right outside the beautiful Cathedral of St. Paul. As the third event in the tour, Crashed Ice comes back to Minnesota, and is projected to draw crowds of up to 100,000. Minnesota native Cameron Naasz will be back to defend his title in this fierce competition.

JOAD offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters focus, increased self-confidence, and team building skills. JOAD is open to any youth archer aged 8 to 20 and is designed to grow with the youth archer. Introductory JOAD classes teach the fundamentals of proper shooting form; as the young archer develops, they will learn more advanced techniques.
After months of preparations and renovations, Great Lakes Baseball invites the community into their new home located at 451 Commerce Drive behind SuperTarget on Saturday, November 21st from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.
Dignitaries, community leaders and industry experts will be in attendance to help celebrate the completion of this east metro elite baseball training facility.
Door prizes, refreshments and complimentary hitting sessions will all be part of the celebration. This event is free and open to the public.

September 27 Celebrate sisterhood at Women Run the Cities, one of ESPN’s top five races for women in the nation. Organizers say that this popular event—featuring 10-mile and 10K runs, a 5K run/walk and a girls’ 1-mile run—is great for experienced runners and newbies alike. The courses start and finish at gorgeous Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, and track along the Mississippi River. Register online; spots fill up quickly. Girls’ run open to ages 4–12. Prices vary by registration date and distance; $15–$70 and up.
St. Croix JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) is taking registration for their summer archery camps.
Session 1 - June 22-25
Session 2 - July 13-16
Session 3 - August 3-6.
Each camp has a maximum enrollment of 20 youth. Youth must be at least 8 years old to register.
Now in its 29th year, this tournament has awarded just under $150,000 in scholarships to local students who are pursuing their post-secondary degrees, and helped send many area youngsters to YMCA Camp. Ticket prices include lunch, golfing, and a social hour and awards banquet at the end of the tournament.
