On February 29, SoWashCoCARES held its first fundraiser, Leap into the Legacy, at Prestick Golf Course. The funds raised at the event supplied food packs and basic needs to students, beginning this past summer, as well as funds for the Skoolie Bus project.

Woodbury Community Theatre is all about show tunes in its third rendition of Stars on Broadway. According to operations director Michelle Witte, the “stars” theme fits perfectly with the idea of Woodbury community “star” performers.

The annual Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce Expo is back for its seventh year and will feature more than 175 local community organizations and businesses ranging from health care practices and home improvement services to local government, schools and retail.

Set in September 1934, Lend Me a Tenor is an award-winning, fast-paced comedy. The production focuses on the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. Tito Merelli is the greatest tenor of his generation and is set to perform a solo as Otello.

The Woodbury Lions Club is hosting its 44th annual pancake breakfast at East Ridge High School on Sunday, October 4, serving pancakes, sausage, yogurt parfaits, coffee, milk and orange juice.
