DESCRIPTION:Join us for an introduction to the Live Heart Strong Initiative and for an exciting and interactive CPR training session. \nOn June 25\, 2023\, I was out on a routine run when I suffered a heart attack and collapsed. My life was saved by an off-duty first responder who gave me effective CPR. I am truly lucky to be alive and I am launching the Live Heart Strong Initiative to educate and train individuals in proper CPR to have the skills to save a life. This in-person free event is your chance to learn life-saving skills in a fun and friendly environment. Michael Martin\, Fire Captain from Woodbury Fire Department\, will guide you through hands-on scenario based exercises and provide valuable CPR techniques. \nDuring the session\, you will gain the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations\, potentially saving lives. Whether you’re a concerned community member\, parent\, health professional or simply interested in learning CPR\, this event is for you. \nDon’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to acquire essential life-saving skills that can make a real difference.
