This year the 1.9 mile course\, located at Sever’s Festival grounds in Shakopee\, is packed with more than 2.5 million lights set to holiday music favorites mixed to an upbeat track. Picture trees wrapped and dripping in icicle lights\, back lit forests\, hanging globes and massive flood lights to create a stunning winter wonderland setting. \nPlus\, meander by foot through the Woods Walk where the trees come to life with light. Or\, check out the latest edition to Sever’s larger-than-life installations: a 3D gift box that is more than 24 feet tall and 24 feet wide! Guests can also drive around the family of drum giants constructed with translucent liquid drums. This family trekking through the snow is a must-see! \n“This is a great holiday tradition for the whole family\, says Nicola Peterson with Sever’s Festivals. “From newborns to great-grandparents\, Sever’s Holiday Lights is accessible\, entertaining and sure to get your entire crew into the holiday spirit.” \nMunch on concessions during your visit including hot cider and caramel corn. DESCRIPTION:On May 20\, Belwin Conservancy will hold its annual Belwin Bison Festival. This beloved festival marks the release of the 2023 NorthStar bison herd onto the Bison Prairie. In addition to the release\, the event will feature food trucks\, live music with a special performance by One Voice Mixed Chorus\, eco-arts\, and more. \nNo RSVP required. Please note: No dogs allowed at this or any Belwin event. \nSchedule: \n10 a.m. 5k “Run with the Bison” Fun Run \nBefore the bison take to the prairie\, have a fun run through it.
