DESCRIPTION:Woodbury-based East Metro Symphony Orchestra (EMSO) is pleased to welcome audiences back for a new season as it presents Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 at 3 p.m. November 1 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.  Admission to this concert is free.  Donations in support of the orchestra’s work in the community are always appreciated. \nEMSO’s first concert of the new concert season will include feature Ludwig van Beethoven’s light-hearted and often overlooked Symphony No. 8 or “Little Symphony in F.” The orchestra will also perform Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings\, and two pieces by Aaron Copland\, Fanfare for the Common Man and Lincoln Portrait with narration performed by Thomas Tait. \nBeethoven’s Symphony No. 8 is the kickoff for EMSO’s 2026–2027 concert season.
