Growing up, back to school season was one of my favorites. As a “Type A” person, I reveled in buying new pens, pencils, folders, notebooks and planners—don’t get me started on my love for a fresh planner! Although I wouldn’t call myself a fanatic, I enjoy a show every now and then. My first Broadway performance was The Lion King, which I saw on the big stage in New York City—it was beautiful, seemingly effortless and certainly a spectacle. That was in spring 2012, and though I haven’t seen another Broadway show, I’ve been to many high school stage productions and have enjoyed streaming productions—Hamilton, anyone?
