Find an accountability partner to keep your health on track.

You have a dream of being healthier and losing weight. But who’s going to know if you eat a bucket of chocolate chip cookie dough instead of exercising?

You certainly aren’t going to rat yourself out. And yet, the truth gnaws at you because you know the advantages of being strong and healthy.
So what’s the answer to this classic brick wall that smashes your health-related dreams?

Accountability Partner

An accountability partner is someone who shares your dream of better health, who joins you to become mightier than the number of people involved.

If you join forces with people who share your dream of getting healthier, and declare an oath to hold each other accountable, it becomes harder to hide when you eat two triple-cheeseburgers or skip four workouts in a row.

Having to check in and answer to somebody else becomes the difference maker. Deputize your partner to keep you on track and astounding things happen.

Form Your Team

An accountability partner can be a friend, family member or trainer.

Be honest with them about how things are going. Discuss what’s going well and what your challenges are. Tell them your goals and why it’s important to achieve them.

Start with a six-month plan. Then set new goals. Schedule weekly check-ins and don’t miss them.

Plan for Your Dreams

Becoming healthier takes consistent exercise and eating right.

Schedule exercise: set days and times to move your body. Celebrate your strength and find joy in cardio and resistance training. Make the schedule known to your partner. Work out together as often as you can!

Write down your eating plan, every week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Have your partner ask what food you prepared for the week.

Our UpLift trainers are great accountability partners. They set goals and walk you through weekly check-ins. Our nutrition program gives you information, meal plans and the accountability you need to succeed. Stop talking about it, or only thinking about it. Reach your goals, with the help of accountability.
