If you live in Woodbury and attend local events, you are sure to have seen Roger Green. For over three decades, Green has been volunteering his time and expertise in Washington County.
In 2003, Green was tapped by the Friends of Woodbury and was one of seven people to chip in to buy a piano for Central Park—that was the beginning for Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF), which he joined in 2011. He served on the board for 10 years and was the chair for the last two.
Green is proud of the role the WCF plays in exploring issues and needs in the community. “The foundation has taken tremendous strides in the last half dozen years in partnering with individuals and other organizations to create a synergistic approach to meet community needs,” he says.
Manali Shah is a volunteer with the WCF and is an active volunteer in Woodbury and Washington County for over 20 years. Find more at woodburycommunityfoundation.org.
