“The snow was shoveled away on Battle Creek Lake last January, either for ice fishing or snowmobile racing, which made it perfect for us to kick sled,” Liz Hagstrom says.“I was a little leery of being on a frozen lake, so [I] was happy to see how thick the ice was, but then [I] became enchanted with the geometric lines and contrasting shading in the ice. I love the depth, shading and random shapes in the ice.”
