The holiday season is all about gathering with loved ones, sharing warmth and creating unforgettable memories around the table, and this festive sangria captures that cozy spirit in a single glass. This harvest-inspired wine punch delivers a delicious balance of sweet fruit notes, tart citrus and subtle aromatic spice, making it the perfect crowd-pleasing cocktail to toast to the togetherness of the holidays.
- 1 Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- ½ cup cranberries
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 bottle of pinot noir
- ¼ cup brandy
- ¼ cup Cointreau
- 1 cup apple cider
- cinnamon-sugar, to garnish
- rosemary sprigs, to garnish
Place apples, oranges, cranberries and cinnamon sticks into a pitcher. Pour pinot noir, brandy, Cointreau and apple cider into the pitcher; stir. Cover, and refrigerate overnight. Serve over ice in a cinnamon-sugar rimmed glass of your choice, and top with a sprig of rosemary.
Pro Tip: When serving, use a wooden spoon to hold back the fruit while pouring into glasses. After pouring, scoop a mixture of the fruit into each glass. Not only does it look good, but the fruit absorbs the alcohol while refrigerating overnight!
