Live Heart Strong CPR Training

Join us for an introduction to the Live Heart Strong Initiative and for an exciting and interactive CPR training session.

On June 25, 2023, I was out on a routine run when I suffered a heart attack and collapsed. My life was saved by an off-duty first responder who gave me effective CPR. I am truly lucky to be alive and I am launching the Live Heart Strong Initiative to educate and train individuals in proper CPR to have the skills to save a life. This in-person free event is your chance to learn life-saving skills in a fun and friendly environment. Michael Martin, Fire Captain from Woodbury Fire Department, will guide you through hands-on scenario based exercises and provide valuable CPR techniques.

During the session, you will gain the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations, potentially saving lives. Whether you’re a concerned community member, parent, health professional or simply interested in learning CPR, this event is for you.
