Join the City of Woodbury (woodburymn.gov) as it marks the nation’s 250th birthday with the annual Fourth of July Hometown Celebration at the M Health Fairview Sports Center, 4125 Radio Drive.

Starting at 6 p.m., guests are welcome to picnic across the green and enjoy an energetic mix of live music from Silver Alchemist. Additionally, a variety of food trucks and concessions will be available to choose from. Kids can explore the Kid Zone, which features hands-on activities, inflatables and mini golf, Madison’s Place Playground or the splash pad.

Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the fireworks show, which will begin at 10 p.m. The celebration aligns with the United States Semiquincentennial, and the Woodbury City Council received additional funds for the event—making the celebration more meaningful. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to blend a beloved local tradition with this historic national milestone,” says Michelle Okada, Parks & Recreation director.
