Pet parent question:

“My dog is healthy and active and doesn’t need medical care for anything. When should I take my dog to the vet?”

Dogs need annual check-ups just as we do. This is an opportunity to see if any health issues develop for your dog from year to year. As dogs age, they can develop health issues. A senior dog will benefit from two visits to the veterinarian per year and more as needed. Practicing prevention and keeping on top of our dog’s health is a good thing for the dog and the pet parent.

Considering health insurance for our dogs can help with costs should they develop significant health issues.
