Central Park will be aglow with holiday cheer this December.
Don your cold-weather gear and join the holiday festivities alongside family and neighbors at the City of Woodbury’s inaugural Tree Lighting Celebration at 6 p.m. on December 4. Attendees will be treated to hot cocoa and seasonal performances by Open Door Community Theatre, followed by the tree lighting ceremony around 6:30 p.m.
The ceremony is planned around the celebration of light, a concept that transcends individual cultures and unites the community as one. In this spirit of togetherness, attendees are also invited to support neighbors in need by bringing nonperishable food donations for Open Cupboard.
