This family-friendly New Year’s Eve party wraps up with plenty of time for a full night’s sleep before continuing the party on New Year’s Day.
If keeping your kiddos awake until midnight on New Year’s Eve (or, ahem, letting them stay up) seems daunting, check out the Woodbury rec department’s family-friendly New Year’s Eve Family Celebration at HealthEast Sports Center. The indoor sports space will be filled with activities to occupy partiers of all ages—moonwalks, obstacle courses, bingo, ice skating, music and more. There are door prize drawings beginning at 8:30, and a big countdown to 2020—wrapping up at the perfectly reasonable hour of 9 p.m., with plenty of time for a full night’s sleep before continuing the party on New Year’s Day.
