Wealthy southerner Big Daddy Pollit is dying of cancer, and while he doesn’t know it, his sons Cooper and Brick do, and they are thrilled their $10 million inheritance is closer to their pocketbooks. But after Brick’s college friend dies; he becomes an alcoholic, intensifying the already strained relationship with his wife Maggie.
