The Adventures of Super Stretch

Downward dog. Warrior. Child pose. Yoga isn’t solely for adults; it’s beneficial for kids, too. Join the city of Woodbury for a beginning yoga class focusing on playful yoga poses, breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques. Carver Lake Walleye Wiggle Snowshoe Race

Put your snowshoe skills to the test. The city of Woodbury hosts its first snowshoe race this February. As a member of the Free Braveheart Snowshoe Race Series, snowshoe racers choose from a 5K, 10K or 1K (quarter mile) kid race. Prizes will be awarded. Adults pre-registration, $20. Adults day of event, $25. Kids pre-registration, $8. Kids day of event, $10. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the races begin at 10 a.m. 651.714.3588. Outdoor Skating and Skiing

Embrace the beauty of a Minnesotan winter by staying active. Woodbury is home to a handful of outdoor skating rinks that feature warming houses, as well as skiing trails. Park warming houses are open through the end of February, but trails remain accessible all winter during regular park hours. Check the website for park hours, offerings and regulations. 651.714.3500.
