Join us for the official unveiling of David’ Sprecher’s Roaming Stone, part of the inaugural 4Ground: Midwest Land Art Biennial. This long-term installation will reside on Belwin's Tallgrass Trails, honoring the history of the land and celebrating the bison and the generations of people who have traveled through this region. This opening event also features the Indigenous multidisciplinary duo Taiquaa//Ambe Omaa. Their work combines throat singing, textile, storytelling and visual symbol. This performance is part of a series that takes them from Rochester to Afton to Fargo in a northwest direction as a subversion of Manifest Destiny that pushed Natives past the Mississippi and beyond.
