A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

It was 2017. Woodbury’s Kate Swenson pulled into a parking spot at work, turned a camera on herself and hit the record button. She had to talk, she had to share and she had to cry.

Armed with a Canon T3i and a 60 mm macro lens, Donna Lloyd decided to capture insect life in her Bailey’s Arbor neighborhood.

As Katherine Spicuzza will tell you, there’s no rest for the weary. The East Ridge High School senior spent her summer performing in theater productions and competitions, and her accolades are steadily rising, even at age 17.

For Woodbury’s Irvine family, the Minnesota State Fair is a family tradition. “My husband Jim and I met on a blind date at the State Fair,” says Kathy Irvine with a laugh.

Since taking the helm of the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce six months ago, Barbara Tuccitto Warren has been out and about in our community, meeting with business leaders, government officials and local civic organizations.
