Woodbury Magazine July 2023

Well, readers, it’s that time of the year again—it’s time to crown your Best of Woodbury 2023 Readers’ Choice Poll winners. But before flipping on over to the big reveal, let’s take a look at our family and friends, neighbors and co-workers, who make our community such a dynamic place to live, work, play and raise families in.

Meet local business owner Trent Scheidecker, who is the most recent board chair for the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce. The 18-year resident shares what he loves about Woodbury, chats about his involvement in the chamber and more. Next, meet former Washington County commissioner Lisa Weik; she dedicated 14 years to the community and has served in multiple roles—Weik even had an American flag flown over Washington, D.C., in her honor.

In my Editor’s Pick this year, I’m traveling all around town, sharing my favorite places to dine, what I enjoy sipping on and some of the things to do around town, too. From a morning spent at Woodbury’s Central Park to lunch at Woodbury Lakes and an evening enjoying a film, there’s an abundance of wonderful businesses and shops to visit, eateries to dine in and things to be seen.

Readers, what’s your favorite part of living, working and playing in Woodbury? I’d love to hear! Send me an email at woodburymag@localmedia.co.
